Powder Basin Motocross, Inc. (PBMI)is proud to be a part of the dirt-racing excitement in Gillette, Wyoming. Established in 1992, our track is located on a 70-acre site at the CAM-PLEX, providing a premier destination for motocross riders and fans alike.

Our one-mile dirt track is designed to challenge and excite riders of all skill levels, featuring tight, winding turns, elevation changes, and a mix of large and small jumps. Each season, PBMI hosts up to 2–4 motocross competitions, running from May through September and drawing participants and spectators from across the region.

Our events include a wide range of competitive divisions, with racers as young as 4 years old through expert-level riders. Each event typically brings in 250–400 riders, with divisions ranging from 10–40 participants. Motocross is truly a family-centered sport, and at PBMI it’s common to see multiple generations riding, supporting, and growing together within the racing community.

Motocross is an important part of the culture in Gillette, where racing, whether on two wheels or four, is widely embraced. With Wyoming’s deep connection to the outdoors, PBMI offers a unique and exciting way for individuals and families to experience the high plains lifestyle.
